In the month of April 2022, the exhibition "RIBIČ LIVIO/LIVIO IL PESTATORE" was on view in the Showcases of Creativity in the City Library of Izola. It was prepared by ALENKA KRANJAC.
The crocheted dolls of ALENKA KRANJAC, Istrian folk singer, writer, teacher and creator, represent the characters that complement the bilingual picture book RIBIČ LIVIO-LIVIO IL PESCATORE, which the author dedicated to Izola and published by the City Library of Izola. The fairy tale is about a fisherman, a mermaid and three wishes. Crochet dolls, such as the fisherman and his wife, their little daughter and other crocheted characters are Dolls from the Malja's Magical Chest, Malya's magic Dolls, as the author calls them.
