Traditional Folklore Dolls

The Miniature 13 cm tall dolls are made with cotton yarn and polyester filling. Their eyes are hand embroidered. The hair are from alpaca wool or mohair. 

They are dressed in traditional clothing, the way people used to wear in the 19th century.

The dolls are also featured in Alenka's book for children "Ribič Livio - Livio il pescatore", a bilingual fairytale about a fisherman who meets a gracious Mermaid and gets his three wishes granted, with an extraordinary magical outcome, that links together all Alenka's stories, just as a silver lining.
